A big picture on little strings
1 : UC Santa Barbara
Little string theories are a unique class of UV-complete six-dimensional supersymmetric quantum theories that lie between supergravity theories and superconformal field theories. Recent advances in geometry, especially through F/M-theory duality, together with developments in generalized symmetries, have sparked renewed interest in these theories. In this talk, I will discuss some aspects of this recent progress, focusing on their defining properties and the surprisingly rich network of T-polyalities that connects them.
